In more personal news

I have decided to eschew Dr. Pepper permanently.

It got you dangerously intoxicated?

Why would you abandon the Elixir of Life??? (Only if made in Plano, of course.)

Time to turn to the elixir that is Tab.

Actually, I'm off everything except water. I'm tired of fighting the extra weight.

That's the beauty of Tab - more caffeine than Dr. Pepper, but nary a calorie. Plus it's got the saccharine bite. Of course I like Diet Dr. Pepper for an occasional change of pace, but Tab is normally my first and last drink of the day.

Tab?!! That's old school, saccharine good stuff.

Peely, stick with the water. You'll feel a lot better.

How much water can you drink in a day? A lady I know is trying to drink 1/2 a gallon a day (it is supposed to be healthy), and is having difficulty with that.

Half a gallon would be difficult for me, especially since I'm never thirsty, but doable.

The dirty secret of diet cola is that once you've pummeled your taste buds with a few of 'em said buds will submit and suddenly diet sodas will taste just fine. In fact, you'll probably find the taste of aspartame generally superior to the unholy high fructose corn syrup. Come, join the dark side!

And for you people that can reliably get a hold of Tab, I'm jealous.

Water is going to get boring though. Personally I like iced herbal teas. I buy loose tea from a store here in town and brew it up in a Mr. Coffe Iced Tea maker. So far my favorite is peppermint.
